From the millennia-old primeval park of the Ivenack oaks to the 100-acre classical English landscape park at Schlitz Castle, all are highly interesting gardens by the sea in their own way.

The result is a beautiful illustrated book, under the patronage of the Association of Palaces, Manor Houses and Manor Houses of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and its chairman Manfred Achtenhagen, with 37 anecdotes about the gardens of the respective manor house and very personal stories of the manor house owners. Lovingly written by Annika Kiehn. With photos by Alexander Rudolph, Florian Forst and others.
