Felicitas von Aretin

 After earning her doctorate, she worked as a journalist for publications including the *Tagesspiegel*, *Die Welt*, and the *Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung*. She later held leadership positions in science communication, including at Freie Universität Berlin, the Max Planck Society, and the German Youth Institute in Munich.

Today, she works as an author, journalist, speaker, and communications consultant, and heads the Munich office of the agency hpunkt kommunikation, which specializes in historical communication and history marketing. Felicitas von Aretin lives with her family in Munich.

She became known, among other things, for her book *The Grandchildren of July 20, 1944*, in which she explores the impact of the German resistance against Nazism on subsequent generations. Her own family history also plays a role in the book, as she is a granddaughter of the resistance fighter Henning von Tresckow. 

In her latest book, *Klosterwelten erleben* (Experiencing the World of Monasteries), Felicitas v. Aretin embarks on an exciting journey through the world of German-speaking monasteries and tells the stories of the people who fill these historic places with life and spirituality today.
