Jan Klage is a media economist and has been studying the intersection of corporate culture and change management for many years.
After nearly 25 years in leadership positions in the publishing and media industries, he has been teaching as a professor of “Leisure and Media Economics” at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences for the past decade. As a management trainer and management consultant, he supports organizations through change processes—drawing on practical experience and insights honed through academic research.
Klage is no mere observer of the world of rock ’n’ roll. For over ten years, he served as a judge for the Live Entertainment Awards (LEA), a major award in the German live music industry that honors outstanding achievements in concerts, tours, and event management.
This connection serves as the starting point for the new book. Klage explores why some people and organizations remain capable of taking action even in the face of uncertainty, how friction gives rise to something new, and why attitude often determines the outcome sooner than strategy. Music and management are not presented as separate worlds, but rather as two stages on which very similar questions arise. All books by Jan Klage published by TriMax Media
